Koetsu Onyx moving coil phono cartridge in Grand Island, Florida For Sale

Up for sale is a Koetsu Onyx low output voltage moving coil cartridge serial # xxxx9 fully tested and documented with micro photographs of the stylus condition. This features a genuine beautiful jeweled Onyx body, a stepped boron cantilever, and a semi line-contact stylus. These sold for $1,100 in xxxx. Today?s Onyx model sells for about $10,000.00. Although what?s being sold here is an early eighties model, the specs are still very similar to todays Onyx model.

I am providing four micro photographs that I personally took. There are two photos at 64x and two at 160x. All photos provide the information you need to determine stylus wear. I also put about 1/2 an hour of play time on this cartridge to make sure it was functioning properly, and it does sound impressive despite the stylus showing a moderate amount of wear (at least according to what the micro photographs indicate).
This is a rare Japanese moving coil cartridge with a lot of pedigree, and I think you will be happy to own it!
